East Anglian Ambulance Paramedic Peter Simpson was invited to give the Club a talk on his proposed trip to the States. This trip was to see why success rates in CPR and early defribulation were so much better in certain parts of the States than in the UK. On his return he was able to give the Club a very detailed talk, highliting the benifits of early defribulation, and also having defrib packs in all local public places. The picturers show a typical Seattle first response vehicle and an early CPR/DeFrip pack, common in the States. It is hoped that the Club can help promote this in our local area.
