As we were unable to undertake our usual trips with Santa and his sleigh this year, due to the risks involved with the Covid Pandemic, our normal fundraising activities have been restricted to monies generated solely by our charity shop in Hoveton.  However, through sales from generous public donations of Bric a Brac and clothing, we were able to allocate funds to provide over 280 food packages for disadvantaged families in the area covered by our Club

With the kind assistance of the Sainsbury’s and Lidl supermarkets in North Walsham, we purchased a selection of 20 assorted items of food which have gone into making up the food packages and these were delivered just prior to Christmas.

Inevitably, because of the way the food was packaged, we were left with some surplus items, but these have been put to good use and donated to the Salvation Army Christmas food appeal.
